Overview
The Finance team strives to provide value-added services to internal and external customers and partners in support of Noven’s Mission to meaningfully benefit patients around the world.
The Noven Finance Department is responsible for many business activities, including strategic planning, risk management and partnering to provide accurate and timely information required to make sound business decisions. This includes business and financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, accounts payable, receivables, accounting and financial reporting.
The Corporate Affairs Department is responsible for internal and external company communications, as well as a range of company policies, programs and initiatives important to Noven's business, culture, brand and its Mission, Values and Leadership Principles.
The Operations Department is responsible for producing the pharmaceutical products that Noven sells to our various customers. Operations is the single largest department at Noven and encompasses over 100 colleagues at our two facilities located in Miami, Florida and Jersey City, New Jersey. The department is comprised of multiple business units including: Manufacturing, Safety, DEA Compliance, Environmental Health and Safety, Engineering, Facilities, Project Management, Configuration, Calibration and Maintenance, Operations Systems, Operations Maintenance, Manufacturing Technical Services and Operations Shared services including Warehousing, Strategic Sourcing and Procurement.
Noven’s Human Resources team is responsible for providing plans, programs, and services that attract, retain, motivate, develop, and reward high quality employees. The Human Resources department includes the following functional areas: Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, Employee Relations, HR Information Systems and Payroll.
The Information Technology Department is organized into three primary teams, each with its own functions and objectives. The Business Solution Partner team provides project management leadership for the Information Technology Department. The Enterprise Business Systems team leads the technical design, configuration, building, testing and maintenance for all of Noven's business systems. The Business Technology Services team provides service desk support for Noven's desktop application programs as well as full- time deskside support at our Miami and Jersey City offices.
Noven’s Legal Department is responsible for overseeing all legal matters related to the company and our business. Key responsibilities led by the Legal Department include: litigation management, intellectual property management, healthcare compliance, business development transaction advice, contract preparation and review, and contract maintenance. In addition, the Legal Department partners closely with other departments including Human Resources, Product Development, and Marketing & Sales to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations and to facilitate the resolution of matters where legal concerns may exist.
Product Development is responsible for developing and registering new products with the FDA that are clinically differentiated, address unmet needs and provide benefits to patients and physicians. Functions within Product Development include: Analytical Research, Clinical Development, Clinical Pharmacology, Commercialization, Genseki, Pharmaceutics, Process Development, Regulatory Affairs and Pharmacovigilance.
The mission of Noven’s Quality Department is to constantly strive to meet or exceed customer expectations by maintaining regulatory compliance, delivering on our promises internally and externally, constantly exploring ways to improve our products, processes and services; and maintaining professionalism in all our interactions. At Noven, we have five business units within the Quality Department: Manufacturing Quality Assurance, Quality Systems, Design Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Quality Engineering.
